Rest in peace.” Cuadrado was the winner of the Latin Grammy Council’s Recognition Award in2021 and crowned as the Vallenato King in1985, further solidifying his status in the music community.

In a heartfelt message shared on Egidio’s Instagram account, he invited all his friends and family to his farewell. The post revealed that he would be honored with a wake beginning on Monday at12:00 PM and continuing until4:00 PM local time on Tuesday.
